Developer Evangelist

A person filling this position becomes the primary business and marketing interface for third party developers with Be. Works with developers in a consulting capacity, helping to complete product plans, coordinate marketing and product plans with Be's efforts, and aiding developers in their efforts to work together, where appropriate. Be's evangelism effort is focused on graphics and 3D software, digital video and audio, Internet servers and client software, and software development tools, including Java. This role will specifically involve managing developers in one of these areas. A candidate should have a B.A. in a computer related field, or a degree and the equivalent in proven technical experience. MBA is a plus. Experience in software development and marketing, multimedia content creation and marketing, professional use of content creation tools (video and audio) or developer technical support and evangelism. A demonstrated record of independent initiative, and presentation and business case skills are required. Qualifications: BA in computer related field, MBA is a plus Software, multimedia experience Minimum 3 years experience in the industry
