Be Developer Conference August 4-5,1997
Hynes Convention Center
Boston, Massachusetts
Coming on August 4-5, 1997, the Be Developer Conference is the
ideal forum to get up to speed on development for the Be Operating System,
to find out the latest on Be technologies, and to meet and discuss technology
and products with other Be developers and marketeers.
The conference is open to all software developers; this includes people who are Registered Be Developers and those who aren't yet. An understanding of C++ is highly recommended, though; the conference will get quite technical at times.
|
Like our last conference, this one will take place over two
days, and features a dual track format that includes sessions on basic BeOS
programming as well as advanced sessions on specific technologies and
software types. There will also be sessions on bringing products to market
and Internet-based distribution. While several sessions will cover topics similar to those covered at the May BeDC, the sessions at this conference will be tuned to the Preview Release and developer feedback we've received. If you attended the May BeDC, there will still be plenty to learn in Boston.
As part of Be's continued commitment to our developers, the Be
Developer Conference has no fees. Lunch is also included on both days!
You should preregister for the conference (see registration information
below) - if we become overbooked, preregistered attendees will be given
preference.
Boston is the place to be from August 6-8 if you are developing for
PowerPC. The Be Developer Conference is scheduled the same week as the
Boston MacWorld Expo.
