Gateway 2000 comes to the aid of North Dakota flood victims

PC manufacturer to provide 17 computers to city government in Grand Forks

North Sioux City, S.D., May 2, 1997 - Gateway 2000, Inc. (NYSE: GTW), a leading global marketer of PCs, today announced they will be providing 17 computers to the city government of Grand Forks, North Dakota. The PCs will be used to get Grand Forks' city hall up and running in the aftermath of the flood.

"So many people have come forward and provided supplies, but one area we really needed help was getting our city government up and running," said Grand Forks Mayor Pat Owens. "With Gateway's help, we can get our city government operating again, despite the fact that we have been devastated by this flood.
