Win 95 CD-ROM

Unless otherwise noted, all files are self-extracting .EXE files. To extract the files, copy the downloaded file to a test directory and double click on it within Explorer or File Manager. See Readme.txt for installation instructions.

Although we are confident that this file will meet your expectations, it hasn't undergone what we would consider thorough testing. scsi1hlp.exe *unsupported*	11649	12\96	Replacment SCSI1HLP.VXD to correct issues between Windows 95a (This file will not work with 95b) and some enhanced CD formats.Extract the file, copy to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS directory, overwriting the current version, and restart Windows 95.

This utility allows Windows 95 to see the 3-disk changer as one drive, cutting down on the cycling observed when Autoplay is enabled. The audio player is also updated with more options.
torisan3.exe	26000	11\95	VxD (Virtual Device Driver) for the Sanyo 3 disk CD-ROM in Win 95. This compressed, self-extracting file will, when run, unpack into the TORISAN3.VXD and some other supporting VxD's for use with Windows 95. You must remove the older SANYO3.VXD if it happens to be installed.
cd.exe	4273	9\95	CD.SYS Patch for the Wearnes 6x CD-ROM Windows 95. This is a patch file that is aimed at a rare situation where the Wearnes 6x CD-ROM is intermittently not recognized by Windows 95 on certain Aladdin and Zappa Pentium motherboards sold by Gateway. It is NOT useful in any other configuration or with any other operating system. Installation is accomplished by copying this file to the root directory of the system's hard drive and adding the following line to the system's CONFIG.SYS file: DEVICE=C:\CD.SYS then reboot the system.
