How to Install the LMSI CD-ROM Drivers

This document contains installation instructions for the LMSI CD-ROM drivers. Follow these steps whenever you need to reinstall these drivers. Installation procedure:
  1. Insert the diskette labeled Philips LMSI CD-ROM Driver into drive A: (or applicable drive). At the C:\> prompt, change to drive A: and type:
    setup
    
    and press Enter to begin the installation.
  2. On the Main Menu screen a number of choices appears. Use the arrow keys to highlight custom and press Enter to continue.
  3. The next screen asks you to confirm that you want to copy files to the C: drive and the \CDROM directory. Arrow down to highlight Continue and press Enter to continue.
  4. The next screen asks if you have a sound card in the system. Highlight NO and press Enter to continue.
  5. The next screen tells you the line that is going to be added to CONFIG.SYS file and a screen to allow changes to the default settings. Arrow down to Continue and press Enter to proceed.
  6. The last screen returns to the Main Menu. Use the arrow keys to highlight Exit and press Enter to finish the installation.
  7. On the last screen, highlight Exit to Dos and press Enter.
  8. Remove the diskette from the drive and reboot the system to load the CD-ROM drivers.
