Text Not Appearing on Screen but Cursor Moves

Issue: In certain applications, it has been reported that what is being typed does not appear even though the cursor moves. Some of the applications being reported as having this issue are MSWORKS 4.0, CASHGRAF, MSBOB (address book & letter writer), and MSPUBLISHER.
Resolution: This issue is a result of the color scheme being used. Check the scheme selected by right clicking on the desktop. Click on Properties and then the Appearance tab. Set the scheme to Windows Standard. Click on OK to return to the desktop. The text should now appear normal. This resolution can be attempted with any application, as long as the symptoms are similar to the above issue.
