When Accessing The Need For Speed the Screen Blanks and System Appears to be Locked Up


Issue: If you improperly attempt to access The Need For Speed application, the screen goes black and the system appears to be locked up.

Resolution: If the CD is not in the drive when accessing the application The Need For Speed, the screen will go black waiting for the disc and the system will appear to be locked up. The system is not locked up. The desktop can be accessed by pressing the ESC key. Just remember that the CD needs to be in the CD-ROM to run this application.
