The Palette Preference Editor
The Palette Editor is used for changing the Workbench colors.

 

 

The Palette Editor window displays the following 9 items for which you can select a specific color for:

BackGroundActive Window Title BarActive Window Titles
TextDark EdgesMenu Background
Important TextBright EdgesMenu Text

You can chose a color to change by clicking on one of three items:

  1. A color box within one of the two color selection gadgets.
  2. An item in the window elements list
  3. An item on the sample window

Four Methods are offerd to change the colors shade.

  1. RGB mode Color slider
  2. HSB mode color slider
  3. Using the color wheel
  4. Using the gradient slider next to the color wheel

Along with these options the standard preference editor also offers several preset color schemes.
