The The Sound Editor Preference

The sound editor allows you to chose the sound type and options that are
produced by your amiga.

Once you have speakers and or a monitor capable of sound hooked to your amiga, open the sound editor and you will see
several options like Make sound, flash display, or a combination of both. Turning off both functions disables the screen flash
and sound notice. options for Make Sound are as follows:
Make Sound
Sound Type
- Select Beep or Sampled Sound. Using the sampled sound feature the sample must be in 8svx format or in a format that
you have a datatype for.
Sound Volume
- Sets the volume of the sound between 1 and 64, with 1 being the quiets and 64 being the loudest.
Sound Pitch
- Sets the pitch of the sound between 1 and 3000. 1 being the lowest tone and 3000 being the highest.
Beep Length
- Sets the beep duration between 1 and 100. 1 being shortest and 100 being the longest.
Selected Sample
- Allows you to chose a sampled sound.
Once you have chosen your sound click on test to test the sound then choose Save or Use to keep the changes or cancel to
exit.
