Amiga Mailing Lists

Mailing lists are a way to have on going discussions about highly-specialized topics, in semi-private, or with a wider audience than just those who have access to news (some people have Internet mail, but not news). Some mailing lists have small amounts of traffic, like a message or two a week. Others may fill your mailbox in a day. If you choose to subscribe to a mailing list, make sure that you save the message which tells you how to unsubscribe and pay close attention to the details of those instructions if you do need to unsubscribe. As well, you'll find details about the nature of the list and what questions or comments would be appropriate or inappropriate.

The list is in no particular order, except that I tend to add new entries to the top of the list.

NOTES:

1. For subscribe@xamiga.linet.org servers, please respond to welcome message to become an active subscriber.
2. Message between quotations is what should be written in email to mail list address. The word "Body:" preceding message means that the message should appear in the body of the email rather than the subject line. The rest are generally assumed to be subject line messages, but I always put the message in both places just to be sure.
