NewTekniques
From the very beginning, Newtek has been so much more than an ordinary computer hardware or software company. By challenging convention in the field of digital media creation, NewTek has developed revolutionary innovations in the areas of video production, animation, and special effects. And beyond simply providing world class creative tools, NewTek has dramatically expanded the creative community by empowering an entirely new generation of digital media enthusiasts.

In the true spirit of NewTek's commitment to serving the needs of digital creators, we introduce NewTekniques magazine.

NewTekniques picks up where other publications leave off, providing the most comprehensive tutorial, technical, and news information relating to the expanding family of NewTek products. NewTekniques is the must-have publication for LightWave 3D and Video Toaster/Flyer users and dealers.

What To Expect

With NewTekniques, you'll be able to keep up to date on all the latest information, techniques, products and tips for NewTek products, particularly LightWave 3D. More LightWave 3D information will be available in NewTekniques than any other publication. Columnists include industry professionals John Gross (Former LWPro Editor in Chief), Scott Wheeler (Area 51), and Mojo (Foundation Imaging). Other LightWave 3D experts have contributed tutorials, tips and techniques.

NewTekniques also has a very close working relationship with NewTek, meaning that the magazine will have detailed access to advanced information and news of interest and importance. It also means that NewTek will be directly answering reader questions of all varieties, not just technical support.

The first issue also contains an interview with NewTek's Founder, Tim Jenison.

Mission

The Mission of NewTekniques magazine is to provide a combination of in-depth tutorial features, product reviews, user profiles, and dedicated coverage of NewTek news and technical developments. Consistent with its name, NewTekniques' first priority is how-to educational content to help users improve the quality of their productions.

While NewTekniques maintains a close working relationship with NewTek, NewTekniques is independently produced by Advanstar Communications to assure the highest level of editorial integrity.

If you want to see Advanstar's publishing and content work, simply pick up a copy of NT Studio or PC Graphics and Video.
