Layout 5.5 Troubleshooting

Product: Lightwave 5.5

Problem: Steamer crashes when used with full version of Particle Storm.

Ensure that you are using the PSPLAY.P file that is distributed with Lightwave 5.5. This file is a newer version and contains components necessary for the link with Steamer to function properly. The PSPLAY.P distributed with Lightwave 5.5 has the same functionality as that shipped with the full version of Particle Storm. You can simply replace the PSPLAY.P file stored in the \NEWTEK\PLUGINS\LAYOUT directory with the PSPLAY.P file found on the 5.5 CD-ROM in the \PLUGINS\LAYOUT directory.
