Since its introduction, we have received an incredible response from developers who want to do things that aren't possible on today's PC. To aid developers, Be has started the Be Developer Program, and we're planning to rapidly expand the scope and range of the services and benefits of this program over time, including access to Be systems at special developer prices. We at Be feel that developers are our partners in delivering a new level of personal computer performance and functionality - because it's only through products created by developers that a personal computer gains life. Be Developer Profile The Be Developer Program is designed for people and companies who know their way around personal computers, and who have programming experience in the past, both for professional , shareware, and non-commercial applications. The Be Developer Program does not have specific qualifications to meet, but you should fit the following profile; You have a familiarity with C++. The software that Be provides for use by developers consists of a group of "kits" written in C++. You have used and are familiar with CodeWarrior from Metrowerks. CodeWarrior is the development system of choice for the Be System. You can find Be headers and libraries on CodeWarrior Gold. You have a calling card: Experience designing and producing applications. You have interesting application ideas: New and inventive ideas for applications that incorporate multimedia or that require real-time processing are particularly welcome.
