WHICH

Format:    WHICH (command) [NORES] [RES] [ALL]

WHICH lets you find a specific command, program or directory by entering its name. If the named item is in the search path, WHICH lists resident commands as RESIDENT and internal commands as INTERNAL.

Normally, WHICH searches the resident list, the directory, the command paths, and the C: directory. If the item is nottfound, WHICH setts the condition flag to 5 (warn), but does not print any error message.

If NORES option is specified, the resident list is not searched. IF the RES option is given, only the resident list is searched.

The ALL switch continues the search through the full search path, finding and listing all locations of a command or program. It can, however, lead to mulitple listings of the same cammand if that command is reached by more than one route.
