Developer Technical Support Engineer

Reporting to Director of Developer Services, Europe, this person is responsible for the technical interface between Be engineering and Be's community of European software developers. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills to handle technical support for external development of a wide range of software and hardware, and to track trends in developer reports for action by the Be engineering team. This person must have a good practical experience of C & C++ programming. Preferably this person should also have knowledge of the MetroWerks CodeWarrior programming environment, and of class-based application frameworks. In addition, this person must have outstanding interpersonal skills, for daily interaction with Be developers. This person will also have to maintain developer databases, update HTML pages on our Web site and will frequently travel around Europe to give presentations and provide local technical support. Qualifications: Minimum BS Computer Science 2 (3 preferably) European languages are mandatory DOS, Linux, Windows and BeOS knowledge are a plus
