How to Create a Startup Disk for Windows 95

To make a Startup Disk inside Windows® 95, click sequentially on Start, Settings, and Control Panel. Within the Control Panel, double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon. Click on the Startup Disk tab, and then click on the Create Disk button. You must have a floppy disk in the A: drive and the Windows 95 CD in the CD-ROM drive. You will be prompted to label a disk "Windows 95 Startup Disk" and to insert it into drive A:. At this point you can click OK since you already have a disk in the A: drive. When complete, click on OK and you now have a bootable floppy disk.
