Floppy Drive Light Stays On After Installing McAfee Virus Scan

Issue: After loading McAfee VirusScan 95 into Windows^® 95, the floppy drive light remains on until the floppy is accessed by selecting "Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode".
Resolution: Follow the steps below using the mouse or keyboard to resolve this issue.

Click on Start and Programs.
Scroll to and highlight the McAfee VirusScan95 group folder.
Click the VShield Configuration Manager program icon.
Click the Detection tab.
Under the Scan disks on section, clear the check boxes on Access & Shutdown.
Click on the OK button.
