Pulse Program Display
Pulse Program Display

The Pulse Program Display is an UXNMR module for visualizing
pulse programs. It is available for the AVANCE spectrometer
series. The main advantage of the Pulse Program Display is that
it does not have its own pulse program interpreter, but uses the
output of the standard UXNMR pulse program compiler. Therefore the
Pulse Program Display interprets the output of two simulation
programs:
- The TCU simulator, that delivers the timing behaviour of
the pulse program.
- The FCU simulator, that delivers phase and power level.
The TCU simulator uses the same source code that is also running on
the TCU. The FCU simulator uses the same memory image as the FCU.
That means, that the output of the simulators reflect exactly
what happens on the spectrometer hardware. The Pulse Program
Display combines these simulator outputs and generates a graphical
representation.
Other features are:
- Easy-to-use graphical X11/Motif user interface.
- Easy setup of simulation time and of channels to simulate.
- Scrolling through the graphical output allows quick navigation.
- Zoom-In and Zoom-Out can be used to see different levels of
detail.
- The pulse program can be displayed in multiple, independent
windows.
- The graphical output can be printed on postscript printers.
