Remarks: Many academics characterised Marcus' professional intuition as basically guesswork. They questioned his designs that apparently did not show any evidence of background research or usability testing. A group of HCI researchers took Marcus' interface designs and conducted a study based on them. The results appeared in the january 1994 issue of the SIGCHI Bulletin (pp. 36-40).
