Calgary Round-Up Band

The Calgary Round-Up band is the oldest of the Calgary Marching bands. It was originally called the Calgary Safety Round-Up band and was comprised of the Calgary crossing guards. It was formed by a Calgary policeman. It usually has a membership of about 120 to 130 members. Their members range in age from 11 or 12 to about 14 or fifteen basically from their first year in Juniour high till their last year. Their members usually move up into the Stetson show band when they age out but, they can also audition for the Calgary Stampede band.
They too competed at the World Music competition in Kerkrade where they recived a silver medal for their parade marching and a gold medal for their field show.

Uniform

The uniform of the band is very similar to that of the Calgary Stampede Band. They wear a white Stetson hat, a light blue western shirt, a white western tie, white pants with a black belt. And they wear white shoes.
