This group is the primary feeder group for the
Calgary Stampede Show Band.
Formed in 1988 they have grown in membership from
approximatly 50 to 60 members to 155 this year. The Stetson Show Band
also competed in the World Music competion in 1993 in which they recived
two gold medals. One for their field show and one for parade marching.
Performances
This coming year they will be traveling to Italy and Europe. They will be
leaving before July so they will not be in Calgary during the Calgary Stampede.
They do a marching field show as well as many parades through out the year.
Uniform
Their uniform is comprised of a Black wide brmmed cowboy
hat, a white shirt, with a black and gold vest. Their pants are black
with a gold and white strip running down the side and the shoes are black.
This .AU file or a windows .wav file. Is a few years old now
as it was from their second year but this is the style of music that they
have at least one song of. It's either El Tiger or another song that I
played that year. Enjoy! Please excuse the quality of the sound it was
recorded on a condeser mike.
