Deutsche Bank: new name for investment banking business - Deutsche Morgan Grenfell
Deutsche Morgan Grenfell is headed by a board comprising Ronaldo Schmitz
(Chairman), Rolf E. Breuer, Ulrich Cartellieri, John Craven and Michael Dobson,
who is also Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Schmitz will have a permanent office in
London.
The Chief Executive Officer will be supported by a Management Committee
headed by Michael Dobson and comprising: Jonathan Asquith (Chief Financial
Officer), Hans Beck (Asia), Guy Dawson and J├╝rgen Bilstein (Corporate
Finance), Rick Haller (Emerging Markets), David Haysey (Equities), Christopher
Hoysted (Personnel), Gavin Lickley (Structured Finance), Charles Low (UK
Relationship Management), Bernd-Albrecht von Maltzan (Germany), Edson
Mitchell (Global Markets), Keith Percy (Asset Management), Robert Smith
(Development Capital), David Thomas (Credit/Market Risk), Maurice
Thompson/Michael Cohrs (Equity Capital Markets).
Morgan Grenfell Group plc will change its name to Deutsche Morgan Grenfell
Group plc. John Craven and Michael Dobson will continue to serve as Chairman
and Chief Executive, respectively.
Hilmar Kopper, Spokesman of the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche
Bank, said: "Clients expect us to provide an integrated service. The structure we
have announced today combines the strengths of Deutsche Bank and Morgan
Grenfell under a global management. We are now in a position to do an even
better job of fulfilling our customers' needs worldwide under a single brand
name."
