in a universe where the crew are disappearing one by one.
The crew send off a plea for help to the homeworld of the Traveller but
can he arrive in time to show Wesley the way to save her?
A rescue mission leads the crew to the birthplace of their late comrade
Tasha Yar, where they encounter her mysterious sister, Ishara.
When she tricks them into removing a implanted warning device that has kept
the balance in the planets civil war for years, the crew are forced to
examine their motives.

attacks on a former enemy's ship (Cardassians).

is knocked out for what is apparently 30 seconds.

Then Picard and the crew are shocked to discover that Data is lying to them.
When a survey as part of a first contact mission goes wrong, Riker is
seriously injured and taken to an alien hospital. His life is put in
jeopardy when they suspect he is an alien.

contact with a leading scientist and try to convince her they mean no
harm. They tell her of Riker's disappearance, but she cautions them not
to mention it when they meet the planet's leader.
The Enterprise as a parent? Seems so, when it accidentally kills a
space-borne creature whose child comes to believe NCC-1701-D is its
mother.
After finding a devastated ship, the Enterprise too becomes trapped in
the same rift in space, and the crew are plagued by unexplained paranoia
and hallucinations.
After a string of Geordi's former colleagues go missing, Dr. Crusher races
against time to locate a parasite that threatens to
transform Geordi into an alien creature.

to escape the ritual suicide mandated by his society.

the Trill who the Enterprise are transporting to a peace conference. When
his shuttlecraft is attacked and he is fatally injured, they discover that
the Trill are a twinned lifeform consisting of a humanoid host body and a
wormlike symbiot. With the new Trill host still 40 hours away, Riker agrees to
be a temporary host. Beverly must decide whether she can make the leap and
accept the new host as the same person she loved before.
Romulan forces kidnap Geordi and turn him into a killing machine in
order to sour relations between the Federation and the Klingon Empire.

fellow crew member.
In the meantime, mysterious holes in the fabric of space threaten the
Enterprise.
As civil war threatens the Klingon Empire, Worf's loyalties are torn
