Since 4:00 AM (MET)the fence around the building was removed. Now visitors could touch the fabric. Both artists caught a cold. Jeanne-Claude had high temperature this night. Christo's voice almost vanished. 1 million peaces of farbic are waiting to be given to the visitors.

The sky got accurately the steel blue as it was foreseen by Christo's drawings. The Senat of Berlin estimated that today more than 500.000 people came the Wrapped Reichstag.

All fears without the fence someboy would demage the work were gone with the soft brise. By getting the possibility to touch the work the Berliners immediately incorporate the work and pay attention that nobody damage the fabric. Only a few moanings while the monitor shifts changed and the supply of fabric peaces slackened for some minutes.
