I came upon this cafe during my walk through the old part of town, around the Place des Vosses. The name, of course, suggests it is near the Louis Phillipe bridge on the Seine, which would make it easy for someone to find today. I wonder how the prices of 1978 (see the menu in the window) compare to today's prices?
I didn't photograph this cafe because of any fond memory of its drinks or ambiance. It was the different textures and reflections of the various kinds of glass that attracted me; especially the acid-etched glass of the doorway.
