MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (January 24, 1995) - Silicon Graphics, Inc. (NYSE: SGI) today introduced a new, enriched entry configuration and two new CPU upgrades for the Indy desktop line, thus furthering the company's commitment to collaborative desktop computing and price/performance leadership.

At competitive prices, Silicon Graphics now offers a full Indy configuration with a 100MHz MIPSĀ® R4600 microprocessor, 32MB of memory, a 500MB system disk and a 15-inch color monitor, making the Indy's rich feature set and interactive 3D graphics capabilities even more accessible to a broader set of users.
