MuPAD ... Multi Processing Algebra Data Tool

Introduction

MuPAD is a general purpose computer algebra system, developed at the University of Paderborn in Germany. A brief description of MuPAD is given in our FACTSHEET and in the file README. Both files are also available via ftp.

MuPAD is available via FTP for several SYSTEMS. The net version is limited in its memory access and can't be used to solve real hard problems. But all non-commercial users can get the full-version for free by abtaining a MuPAD license (key) that unlocks all memory limitations.

The easiest way to obtain a license is to use the LICENSE-FORM. Otherwise, get the LICENSE file from a ftp site, follow its instructions and send it by email to MuPAD-distribution@uni-paderborn.de. Some of the institutions that uses MuPAD are listed in Who uses MuPAD.

The DEMO pages show some examples of the algebraic and graphic features of MuPAD. There are also informations on test suites and benchmarks available.
