Please take the necessary actions to stop LES from receiving a permit to construct the nation's first privately owned uranium enrichment plant.

I believe that this facility is dangerous to the land, air and water quality of Forest Grove and Center Springs, Louisiana, and totally unnecessary. Furthermore, the siting of the facility between two low income African-American communities is a clear example of environmental racism and sets a dangerous precedent for other low income communities of color.

No community should be forced to host this dangerous facility. I ask that you use your authority to prevent LES from obtaining a permit to build the Claiborne Enrichment Center and ensure the environmental protection of local citizens. The whole world is watching and awaiting your decision.
