Style Conventions for WWW Pages of the IMMD

The pages have at the top some pictograms for quick navigation and a reference to the author of this page together with a date. Almost all pages are built according to this style. Since WWW is a world wide service the pages are written in English. Information which is only of local interest may be presented in German.

The list below shows the most common pictograms and explains their meaning:

The following symbols allow navigation according to the logical structure of the WWW pages. If you strictly follow the arrow pictograms you can view all pages (hope so) of a certain subtree in a depth first order.

To view all pages of a subtree in depth first order apply the rules below in the order given:

  • If there is the pictogram Down - select it.
  • If there is the pictogram Next - select it.
  • Otherwise select the pictogram Up
  • If none of the pictograms Down, Up, Next is present go back to the last viewed page.
