Throughout the day, starting at 10 am, there are meetings, readings, and discussions held in various spaces within the salon: Every day, around themes based on the works of Jean de la Fontaine, the Forum of Authors, in association with several Paris newspapers, hold discussions. On Sunday, March 19, the theme at Le Figaro Litteraire will be 'Libertinage et Poesie'

From 11:30 to 1 pm: 'Le Plaisir et L'Interdit', with Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Gabriel Matzneff, Felicien Marceau, Genevieve Dorman and Isabelle Rabineau.

From 3:30 pm to 5 pm: 'La Poesie de La Fontaine a Rene Char', animated by Renaud Matignon - program to be announced on site.

The Writer's Club, founded in last century, presents 'Les Rencontres de la Societe des Gens des Lettres'

From 2 pm to 3:30 pm: 'L'Ecole de Brive' Participating in the debate: Jacques Peuchmaurd, publisher, and the authors, Christian Signal, Denis Tillnac, Michel Peyramaure, Yves Viollier, Claude Michelet, Gilbert Bordas, Jean-Guy Soumy and Jean-Jacques Brochier.

On the stand of the Societe des Gens des Lettres, authors murmur their own selected work: At noon: Jean-Noel Blanc At 4 pm: Michel Chaillou

3:30 pm to 5 pm : 'Conteurs d'Histeires', hosted by Ramon Chao. Participating : Cristina Fernandez Cubas, Artura Perez-Reverte and Manuel Vazquez Montalban
5:30 pm to 7 pm : ' La Litterature Theatrale' Participating : Angel Berenguer, Fernando Arrabal and Francisco Nieva.

Les Lectures du Cafe Litteraire - priviledged rendez-vous between artists and their public -

From 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm : 'Musical Hommage to Robert Desnos' On 50th anniversary of his death, Chantal Galiana, accompanied at the piano bar by Fabrice Boulanger, will perform songs by Robert Desnos; to the music of Wiener and Kosma. Elizabeth Serman recites the poems of Robert Desnos.

From 6 pm to 7 pm : 'Ibertao' Etienne Roda-Gil reads excerpts (sic) from 'Ibertao', Editions Stock.

L'Espace Multimedia

From 5 pm to 7 pm Discussion theme : 'La Distribution des Produits Multimedia' Moderated by Michel Rousseau, magazine CD Rama Participating : Bernard Zach, Hachette; Olivier Karsenty, Arborescence: Emmanuelle Rosenfeld, Montparnasse Multimedia; Michel Bussac, Edusoft; Olinier Cadou, Electre Multimedia; Pierre Bouygues, Apple France.

Litterature, Jeunesse, Religion, Sciences Humaines Salle Cervantes -
From 11 am to 1 pm : 'Les Jeunes Lisent-Ils Encore les Classiques?' Discussion hosted by Claude Aziza Participating : Francoise Gomez, Gerard Gengembre, Helene Madesclaire, Pierre Boncenne, and Thierry Giappiconi. Organised by publisher, Presse Pocket and the City of Paris, a l'occasion du concours ' Paris en Poche'.

Salle La Fontaine
From 5 pm to 7 pm : 'La Litterature Contemporaine Turque' with Nedim Gursel, Timur Muhittin, Ferda Fidan, and possibly, Demir Ozlu. Organised by the Turkish Culture Ministry
