Tripe Shop

I don't remember any experience associated with this shop window, except that I thought it was colorful and that the fur and eggs were an opportune juxaposition of textures. The odd display in the same window of presumably human food with dog and cat food also reinforced my feeling of being a visitor in a foreign land.

Can you help me identify some of the unknowns here?

  1. How many different animals are hanging here?
    Only two different animals.

    Yes, from left to right :
    * Deux faisans et une faisane (2 pheasants & 1 hen pheasant).
    * Des lièvres (rest are hares).
