For the fourth quarter ended June 30, 1994, total revenues were $433 million, compared to $319 million in the year ago quarter, a 36% increase. Net income for the quarter was $43 million, or $.28 per common share, compared to $32 million or $.22 per common share in fourth quarter of fiscal 1993.

McCracken, Silicon Graphics' president and CEO. "Our solid momentum, strong position in the marketplace, and healthy financials lay an excellent foundation for the future. We feel we are well positioned in markets that will grow rapidly during the last half of the decade."
The Company also noted that its significant gain in market share during the year was a result of a rich product line providing a full range of visual computing systems and servers, and an aggressive sales strategy. The Company added that it expects new product introductions in fiscal 1995 to build on its current momentum.
At the end of fiscal 1994, the Company's balance sheet reflected stockholders' equity of $921 million. The Company's cash and investments, including long-term financial instruments at June 30, 1994, was $588 million.
