This is it. The place on the Net where you'll find the soul of
cycling. We were the first major bike manufacturer to go online, and
we'll always be one lap ahead of the competition. Welcome to the best
ride on the Web. The World Ride Web.
Bookmark this
page, because it's here where we'll continue to announce new
features, events, cycling news, new products, and of course, exclusive
online contests and promotions...like this one:
The winners are in!
Check to see if YOU won a '96 Steel Ground Control
full-suspension bike. The plush way to
crush.
What have we got for you? New features include WorldRide mountain bike trail directories,
e-mail access to Specialized engineers, pros, clubs and promotions, a new trail preservation network in conjunction
with IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association), and a dealer directory which will soon connect
users directly to dealer homepages.
If you're a roadie, we've created just the place
for you.

There's info and pictures of our 1996 line, including
hot new products like our Ground Control
full-suspension bikes, our
new Team tires, and our Mountain Man helmets.
Speaking of Ground Control, Ned Overend and Steve Tilford raced their
Ground Control
A1 Comps in the Specialized Cup in Tokyo Japan, Sept 21 and 22nd.
They rocketed past the
field and finished 1 and 2. Steve slapped his Fatboy tires on and smoked the
FatBoy
Mountain Bike Criterium. Active Independent suspension at it's best.
Truly the
All Conditions full suspension bike.
Ride hard, have fun, enjoy the site... we made it for YOU!
