Our research activity is within the field of Applied Laser Physics .
More precisely: Development of Laser-Based (Spectroscopic) Techniques for:

Ultra-Sensitive Trace-Element Detection by:


Laser Induced Fluorescence in Graphite Furnaces (LIF-GF); and
Diode Laser Spectrometry (WM-DLAS).



Non-Intrusive Manipulation of Biological Objects and Intra-Cellular Microsurgery by:


Optical Tweezers and Optical Scalpel.
