Babe
There are a few points throughout the film when the animals talk, but their mouths don't move.
When Babe is trying to talk to the sheep who won't listen to him at the contest, there is a shot of three sheep; two facing away and one facing toward him. Both times when he talks to them, the sheep on the right baaaa's at him, while the one on the left, to put it gently, relieves himself.
In the scene where Babe and the duck try to steal the alarm clock and accidentally wake up the cat, the camera switches to a view outside the home. You can see two ducks doing what appears to be mating in the pond outside the house.
There is one section in it where the camera shows the animals looking into the house through a window, but when it shows it from the outside they are looking in through a door. It's around the part where Babe is in the competition.
Backdraft
In the end scene the dispatcher announces "This will be a hazardous materials response" but Brian and Steve and Axe have no masks.
When the fire truck swerves out of the way to keep from hitting a car, and tips over onto its side, we see it precariously balanced on two wheels. When they show a shot of the inside of the fire truck, we see that the fire truck is scraping against the ground. Then in the next scene we see the fire truck still balanced on two wheels and then it tips and falls onto its side.
When the firefighter is wrestling with the arsonist in the house (the arsonist gets a electrical outlet outline burned into his shoulder blade), they get blown off the front porch onto the lawn. In the cinema you could see a blue crash pad for the stuntman to the extreme left of the shot, but in the widescreen video you can't really see it, so they could have edited it out.
Bad Girls
At the end the nasty man is out of bullets so the Bad girl throws him a bullet from her rifle. He puts the bullet in but fails to revolve the cylinder so of course he loses as you would have to thumb-cock and pull the trigger 3-4 times to get to the live ammo. Dumb, dead desperado.
Bambi
After the great fire scene there is a racoon that drags her baby to shore and begins cleaning it. A few seconds later the baby has jumped across to the other side of his father and siblings, but the mother does not stop licking.
At the end a mother rabit is licking a baby rabbit. All of a suden the baby rabbit disapears.
The Battle of Midway
There are numerous shots of stock footage showing planes that weren't in service at the time of Midway, notably the Corsair, which didn't see carrier service until 1944, as well as the Helldiver, the Hellcat, etc.
The Japanese Zeros are actually repainted Douglas Dauntless dive bombers.
The majority of the Japanese planes were actually done-over North American AT-6 Texans and their Navy counterpart, the SNJ.
Beaches
In the beginning of the movie, there are clips of letters that the characters, Cee Cee and Hillary, have sent to each other throughout their friendship. In one of the letters that is clearly dated 1979, Cee Cee tells Hillary about a new play that she has been cast in. Yet in the movie, Hillary sees this play in 1976.
Bean
When Mr. Bean is looking at the one-way window on his side the window comes down to around his belly-button but on the other guys' side it comes down below Bean's waist.
Beauty and the Beast
There is a scene with Belle and Beast dining. Beast wolfs down his meal out of the dish and his face is covered with food. Belle looks shocked so Beast then tries to use a spoon and he is completely clean. Belle smiles sympathetically and Beast is covered with food in the next scene. In the next shot, they both eating directly from the bowl and Beast is clean again.
When Belle's father is lost in the forest, he looks at a sign at the crossroads that have barely readable lettering. If you look closely, you can clearly see "Anaheim" written, along with many other California cities.
In the scene where Gaston tries to propose to Belle, he walks in the door and leaves it open. However, by the end of the scene, the door has magically closed itself, because Belle's back is to the closed door when she opens it and lets Gaston fall face first into the mud puddle.
Belle opens the door outward so Gaston falls out, but after she throws his shoes at him, she slams it shut from the inside.
During the end the clock slides down the stairway. At the end of the stairway is a big post, but he slides right off, never hitting the post.
Beauty and the Beast, Enchanted Christmas
If the story takes place sometime during the middle of the first movie, where do the new characters go that were added in the second movie?
Before and After
Liam Neeson pulls his jeep over on the side of the road, he and his son get out. Blinker is on. They walk around and talk for a little bit, and all the sudden the blinker's off.
Ben Hur
During the chariot races, Charton Heston is wearing a wrist watch which can be clearly seen throughout the race.
Beverly Hills Cop
When Eddie Murphy is getting the bananas from the waiter in the hotel, the bananas he gets are straight. When he places the bananas in the tailpipe of the detectives' car, they are curved.
In the scene where Axel throws the art dealer's henchman onto the buffet table, if you watch carefully (or use slo-mo) you can clearly see the stunt double pulling off that manoeuvre.
In several scenes Eddie Murphy is carrying a single action Browning semiauto. When it is drawn and supposed to be ready to use the hammer is clearly not cocked - it simply won't fire until it is - but when he shoots it fires anyway.
Beverly Hills Cop II
As Axel is driving down the street right before he cons the builders out of the house, you can see in the background a lot of cars as it is a busy street. Axel then makes a U-turn in the middle of the street without getting hit, and no other car is ever seen on this road.
When Axel Foley is chasing the armored truck that has all the money from the race track in it, the police light on the car falls off, but then in the next shot it is on again.
When Axel's friend shoots the bazooka and it hits the truck with all the explosives in it, the explosion should have been at least 5 times bigger than it was.
Beverly Hills Ninja
Near the end of the film, as Chris Farley's character is saying good-bye to his ninja friends, you can see one of the child ninjas picking his nose in the lower right hand part of the screen.
There's a scene in the hotel room where Chris Farley is swinging some broadswords. He is holding them (one in each hand) in one shot, and in the next shot shakes Chris Rock's hand.
Beyond the Law
Towards the end the swat team appear surrounding a trailer and in the next scene they have to sneak up all over again....
The Bible
Adam has a navel.
The Big Lebowsky
When Ben Gazarra's character is talking to Lebowsky, he raises a finger and says: "Wait, I have to get that!" THEN the telephone rings.
In one scene when our hero is in the limo, the camera films the rear view mirror and shows the detective in the VW following the limo. The only problem is that it is a left hand drive VW and the shot shows the driver on the right. This was either a case where the film was accidentally inserted backwards or one where someone was trying to show off an understanding of optics, but only managed to show complete ignorance of the principles. When viewed from a rear or side view mirror, the driver of a following vehicle DOES NOT appear to have change sides.
In the scene in the limo, with the Dude drinking his white Russian, some shots show him with a milk moustache, then the shot changes, and then when it returns he doesn't have a moustache. The next time the camera left the dude and returned, he has the moustache back.
The Big One
When the earthquake happens, the phone falls off the hook so the lady can't get through to
the house, and the phone is making that really annoying sound when it's off the hook. The
phone is a portable so it shouldn't matter that it is off the hook, and when her daughter
comes home it stops making that annoying sound when a phone is off the hook.
Big Red One
During all the major battle scenes involving tanks the Germans are using American Sherman tanks as their own.
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
Just before the evil robots capture Bill and Ted's girlfriends, after they crash through the window, the girlfriends ask the robots: "Who are you?" and Bill goes "Well, I'm really Evil Ted!" and unzips himself and out pops Evil Ted, and the other robot goes, "And I'm really Evil Bill!" and out pops Evil Bill. When the robots are herding the girlfriends out just before knocking them out with their breath, you can see two sets of clothes in the bottom left corner if you watch closely.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
At one point, Bill is on the left inside the phone booth and Ted is on the right. When the camera switches away, then back, they've changed sides. I think it's right before they meet their future selves.
When they are using the booth as a sled after collecting all the historical figures, how much would it hurt when they land...?
Billy Madison
When Billy is in the first grade, he is making a snowman. All the other students are making perfect looking snowmen with cotton balls, but Billy's is nothing but a huge mess of cotton balls, construction paper, and paste. It looks nothing like a snowman. However, when Billy is outside of school and is putting the moves on one of his classmate's moms, his teacher, Miss Lippy, brings out all his stuff from class that day, including his snowman, which now looks absolutely perfect.
In the scene where he has to write in cursive the words change shape as though they wrote it a few times making the scene. It's around the time he is throwing the fit.
In the part where he is putting water on his pants because its cool, the water pours out. But the kid before him had to keep pumping to get water out.
When Billy, Norm MacDonald, and that other guy throw pickles at the fast-food restaurant window to see which one will slide down the fastest, the pickles' respective positions on the window change significantly from when they're thrown to when the actual "race" is occurring. The position then changes again after the race is over and the pickles are still visible in the background.
After chasing the penguin, his shirt is unbuttoned and he falls. When Wanita pulls him off the ground and tells him to get dressed, his shirt is buttoned.
When Billy is on the bus and the kid dares him to touch Ms. Vaughn's boob, when the camera is looking at the back of Billy's head, you can see in the background that Ms. Vaughn is 3 seats in front of him. Then after he tries to grab her and goes back to sit back down his seat is only 2 seats back.
When the O'Doyles are in the car don't you think that they would know thar they are falling off a cliff?
The Birdcage
When Robin Williams's son informs him that he's getting married, Robin responds by draining his wine glass. In the very next camera change, the glass is suddenly filled with wine again.
Albert comes upstairs and says, "Where is he? Where's your little chippie?" When he does this, he throws something at Armand and a candle is blown out. In the next shot, the candle is re-lit.
Black Sheep
Chris Farley and David Spade are driving in a borrowed police car. When the camera is on Spade, the window is not open, then it is open a bit, then it is closed again.
Bladerunner
Deckard (Harrison Ford) investigates the maker of artificial reptiles; an Abdul
somebody. It's obvious that the dialogue
was added as neither actor is in sync with the sound. The end of the scene has the
storekeepers voice telling Deckard the information he was seeking while Deckard's mouth is
the one moving. Deckard's mouth continues to move even after Abdul's lines are finished
and the scene cuts.
When Deckard shoots the snake-woman in the back and she falls through several layers of glass she lands on her stomach, with her head lying on the left side. In the next scene Deckard is standing beside her, but now she has turned her head, lying on the other cheek.
After the snake lady is dead, eyes open, Deckard rolls her head from camera right to camera left. Her eyes move.
Blood Simple
Abbey's husband gives her a gun, but she only has three bullets. She puts them in the cylinder of her revolver one after the other. Later, when the PI steals the gun, he checks the bullets and sets the cylinder so that the first round is under the hammer. When he shoots Marty, the second round is fired because the pistol is double action; when you pull the trigger the cylinder is rotated. The PI then prepares to shoot Marty the second time, pulling the trigger, which rotates the cylinder and cocks the hammer, but doesn't feel the need to fire. Later that round is fired accidentally, and the trigger is pulled twice more rotating the cylinder twice more, with the hammer falling on empty cylinders. This should leave the next trigger pull on an empty cylinder, then the next should fire. It doesn't happen that way, and I think there is a trigger pull missing in the film.
The wall in the bathroom has a very poor refinishing job. They may have had to practice this shot once earlier.
Have you ever seen anything like that knife in the hand scene?
After Ray has his run-ins with the gun, watch the old man shoot him on the highway as he drives by.
The Blue Max
The British carry WW-I, No 1 Lee-Enfields, and the Germans carry WW-II era British No. 4 Lee-Enfields.
Blue Steel
A murder is committed in another room of a house with a .44 Magnum (a Smith & Wesson Model 29, actually, like Dirty Harry's), and no one in the house hears it because it's wrapped in a towel?!?!
The Blues Brothers
They are racing through the streets of Chicago in one of the greatest car chase scenes in movie history. At one point they are racing up a bridge with the Illinois Nazis on their tail. They find out that the bridge is not finished. The Blues Bros. stop in time, and the Nazis don't. The thing is, that bridge is in Milwaukee, not Chicago.
When the Country & Western band chases Jake & Elwood, they start out of the bar parking lot in a full sized RV, but when they wreck shortly thereafter, it's a pickup truck with a camper.
When they are on the bridge, they drive back and brake so hard that they flip over backwards over the Nazi car. Assuming this is possible (although it isn't), they should land backwards, in the same position as they were standing. But they land with the nose of the car the other side around, so somehow they had to turn the car in the air.
When they drive the bridge, you see the distance between the bridge and the ground,
about 30 metres. When the Nazi car is falling, it is at least 100 mtrs high.
The first bridge in the movie is rising very fast. When they drive on the bridge, it
stands lower than before, and the jump they make, is over a small area, although you see
later that the bridge is completely up.
Bordello of Blood
At the very end there is a shot of (Dennis Miller) opening the door of a car for the lady, then cuts to the inside of the car, where her door is slammed shut, obviously by Dennis Miller, and approximately half a second after her door is shut, the passenger door opens and Dennis gets in the car. He must be able to leap over cars in a single bound.
The Brady Bunch
When Jan is riding her bike to school, she hits Mr. Ditmier's car and him. When he is hit he acts like he is hurt, but he grabs the wrong side of his face.
Brain Donors
When Jacques attaches the bungee cord from the cocktail cart to Lazlo's pants, Lazlo takes a step forward and the cocktail cart snaps after him causing a terrible ruckus, however the bottles on the cart mysteriously empty before the collision, and none of them move. They are obviously glued to the cart.
In the few beginning scenes, when Jacques is bungee jumping out of the window to pick new flowers, if you watch closely enough, you can tell that two of the shots were filmed backwards.
Bram Stoker's Dracula
When Dr Seward (Richard E Grant) goes to see Renfield on the third occasion (I think) he gets bitten on the right side of his neck, then grabs the left side and then runs off.
when Lucy's fiance comes in, there is a guy at the back back who is holding onto his hat, then someone falls onto the couch, a second later pulling out that hat, that he's somehow got hold of.
If you look in one of the first scenes, Winona Ryder (as Vlad the Impaler's wife), is lying on the floor, dead. Gary Oldman's Vlad falls to his knees, heartbroken, right next to the "dead" Winona, who flinches.
When Madame Mina and that guy get married, they are married in an Eastern Orthodox Church, but the priests make the sign of the cross with their right hands. In the Eastern Orthodox Church, the sign of the cross is made with the left hand.
The Breakfast Club
In the scene where the five are running through the halls trying to dodge the principal, they run past a window where it is full-on dark. Since the detention took place on a Saturday morning and afternoon, there is no way this could have actually happened.
Molly Ringwald's hair changes styles in just about every shot.
A Shermer High School newspaper is shown with the headline "Clarke Sparks Grapplers." In the credits at the end of the film, Andrew's last name is spelled Clark.
After Molly Ringwald does her trick, she puts the lipstick away twice. It has a shot of her putting it away from the front and then another one from the back.
Some of the first scenes in the library show that the tables they are sitting in are regular tables, with no barrier hanging down. However, when Judd Nelson is hiding under a table later in the movie, the table conveniently has a barrier to block him from the vice-principal.
The time on the clock in the hall is way different from when the troublemaker guy runs down the hall than the on the clock in the gym when we see him a second later shooting basketballs.
When Judd Nelson enters the library, he walks up to Brian's table and motions to him with his hand to move to another table. He uses his left hand, but when the camera-angle changes and shoots Judd Nelson from behind, he is suddenly pointing with his right hand.
In some shots you can see it's dark outside.
Breakdown
Near the start of the film Kurt Russell gets a little worried and speeds away from a
garage after seeing someone he almost hit earlier. After a few minutes the Jeep breaks
down. Kurt finds out after a while that some wires have come undone, he puts them back
together and the Jeep starts. Later in the movie the guy that he almost hit told him that
he undid the wires. How did the Jeep run for so long before it broke down?
In the beginning of the movie Jeff and his wife were moving to San Diego from
Massachusetts. Well, they were driving in
their new Jeep (with Massachusetts plates) through Arizona. When Amy comments about how
fast Jeff is driving, the camera shot shows the speedometer at 80 mph and the odometer
shows the Jeep has only 245miles. That must be a new record from MA to AZ.....
When the car is breaking down, Kurt Russell's character yells out "I can't
steer!", but when they show the car, it swerves
off of the road and then starts to come back on to the road.
A Bridge Too Far
In a scene in a town on the rooftops as the British fight the Nazis, we see that the townsfolk were truly ahead of their times as they nearly all have television antennas.
There is a close-up of a parachutist's boot as he leaves the aircraft. It is a DMS boot. DMS boots were not issued to the army until much, much later. Late sixties, early seventies as I recall.
Bridges of Madison County
When Meryl Streep first gets into the pickup with Clint Eastwood and they are driving, a tractor passes them on the road. The tractor is obviously a later model than there were in the 60s or whenever the movie was supposed to take place.
Broadcast News
When the William Hurt character is talking to Holly Hunter after her boring lecture, the first shot (from behind Hurt) shows him walking backwards while talking to Hunter. As he continues to walk, he comes perilously close to banging his head on an archway. Yet, on the reverse angle, Hurt has been repositioned about five feet from where he was.
Broken Arrow
Near the end, John Travolta is shot in the arm, yet he is still feeling up to boxing with Christian Slater.
Heroes enter underground river which carries them to safety, 2000ft up hill.
In the scene where Christian Slater and the ranger are about radioing for help in the ranger's truck, the enemy helicopter comes from behind a ridge and shoots at them. They get out of the way, and the bullet fire continues and hits the truck on the driver side door, the roof above, and then the ground after that. In the next scene, you can clearly see bullet holes on the hood, going from front to back, but the fire was from right to left.
In the scene in the copper mine, Christian Slater accidentally arms the bomb. As it counts down it is at 26 minutes. Later it counts down to 22 minutes. When John Travolta finds the bomb and begins stroking it the timer is back to 26 minutes.
When Christian Slater and the girl are trying to take over the jeep with the nukes in it, Slater shoots the driver's foot and pushes him out of the jeep to the side of the road, but then the car with Travolta in it accidentally runs over the guy in the middle of the road.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Towards the end of the film when they are getting ready for a dance, a Pepsi can mysteriously moves around on the floor in front of Buffy's friend.
Bull Durham
In the scene where "nuke" Laloosh throws the ball through the window of the back door of the bar the door is closed. After Crash Davis punches Laloosh the back door is now wide open.
In a bus scene Crash is shown holding a guitar talking about being in the majors. In one scene he's just holding the guitar, the next he has a pair of sunglasses in his hand while holding the guitar. The next scene the sunglasses are gone. A couple of shots later the guitar is sitting in the seat next to him. When Laloosh challenges Crash to a fight, he's holding the guitar again.
In one of the games near the end of the movie, an advertisement for an L.A. radio station, KISS-FM, is clearly visible on the back fence. The Bulls are based in Durham, North Carolina.
Bulletproof
Wayans reveals to Sadler that he has had a steel plate put in his head. He uses it several times during the movie as a battering ram. However, when he was shown in the hospital while recovering from the shot to the head, the scar is shown as only about an inch or two long. Also, later in the movie he doesn't even have a scar.
Wayans and Sadler are attacked in their motel room, and their room is riddled from all sides with bullets flying everywhere. However, when they flee the room all the lights are still burning and the TV is still heard in the background with the porno movie playing.
Archie is flying the plane when suddenly they run out of fuel. He makes an incredible landing in the middle of a desert. The problem is, it's right on the edge of a cliff. After a little scooting and running they jump out of the back of the plane. When the do so they're no longer counter-weighting the front which causes the plane to fall. When the plane falls off the edge of the cliff and crashes it has this huge fireball explosion. What would be in the plane to explode in a fireball that big since the plane ran out of gas.
Bullitt
Steve McQueen passes the same green Volkswagen four/five times while chasing the black Dodge Charger R/T.
5 hubcaps fall off the Lincoln at the start of the movie.
Steve McQueen changes up a gear about 19 times.
The gray-haired hitman enters the hospital in the dead of night. He ends up being chased through the building by Bullitt for about 10, maybe 20 minutes. But when he safely flees the hospital, we see plenty of bright, morning sunshine.
