LA Confidential

In the scene where Kim Basinger is watching the film of Veronica Lake in her house, we hear the dialogue... but the projector is not a sound projector.

When Kevin Spacey is alone in the bar looking at the $50 bill (quite a close up), it's a bill dated from the 80's or 90's.

The Last Boyscout

In the scene where they retrieve the evidence from Halle Berry's apartment, they come outside during broad daylight, but when they get in the car to listen to the tape it's pitch black outside.

The Last Emperor

When the Empress Dowager dies, she can't stand opening her eyes and closes them as the servant covers her face. You can see that through the white cloth.

Last Man Standing

John Smith's guns can hold about six dozen bullets apiece.

Leaving Las Vegas

Nicholas Cage hires a hooker while drunk. She steals his wedding band. A few scenes after, he's at his office, gets fired, etc., and has the wedding band on his hand. Then it's gone again.

Legend

There is a winter scene where Jack is wearing a cloak that is securely fastened at the collar with a huge modern safety-pin.

Legends of the Fall

When Samuel dies in the movie, if you watch closely there is blood running down his face in only every other scene.

When Tristan, his wife, and son meet his brother and wife at the fair, at first the child is awake in his mother's arms and then suddenly in the next shot he's sound asleep.

In the scene where Tristan returns to see Suzanne at her new home with Alfred, her hair is down. But on every shot her hair is either pulled behind her ear, then both sides in her face, then one side pulled back, and so on.

At the fair when Isabelle goes to give Suzanna the baby, she actually hands it to her in one shot, but in the next (a split second) Suzanne shows no sign as if the baby ever left Isabelle's hand.

When Suzanna comes in for dinner the first night there, all the guys raise something to give her, but Tristan goes to raise his plate. But cutting back from her reaction, he has only lifted his glass to drink.

When Brad Pitt is in the army tent in France grieving over his brother's death, it is night. In the film, we see the Native American in Montana is simultaneously having a spiritual moment in his teepee and it is night there as well. The time difference between Montana and France is 10 hours; it cannot be night in both places simultaneously.

Lethal Weapon

Riggs handcuffs himself to the depressed businessman. They jump off the building but they're not handcuffed to each other anymore.

The first time we see Riggs he is lying in bed with a cigarette, almost finished, in his mouth. He gets up and goes to the toilet. When we see him in the toilet, the cigarette looks like it has hardly been smoked at all.

When Mel Gibson is talking about the special bullet, kept as the suicide special, he describes it as a hollow point - to do the job right. When he shows the bullet you can see it is a full metal jacket.

Liar, Liar

When Jim Carrey is in the bathroom beating himself up, the man who walks into the bathroom walks in through a door that is clearly marked "exit only".

In one scene, when Jim Carrey has the curse and he cannot lie, he's running away from everyone. Then the lift door opens and his boss comes out and she calls him, Jim Carrey runs away and takes the emergency exits stairway. Just before the door closes after him he bumps into the wall, and it shakes really hard.

When Jim Carrey's wife is lighting the candles on their son's birthday cake towards the end of the movie, in one scene
while she is talking to Carrey on the phone, she is about to light the candles on their son's birthday cake. In the next scene, all of the candles are lit, and the match is burnt out.

When Jim Carrey is arguing with his secretary she asks him a question and he says no, lying.....

In the scene which Carey is being pulled out of the courtroom,he yells that he is Jose Canseco. That's a lie. He would have to rephrase his sentence for it to be the truth.

In the scene at Max's birthday party, Audry is talking to her boyfriend in the kitchen. She holds the candles in her right hand and then she moves her hand down towards the cake. In the very next frame, they show the cake with all of the candles already arranged on the cake.

When the guy says "all rise for the honourable judge what's-his-name," Jim Carey says "honourable? Yeah right." For the rest of the movie he calls him "your honour." That has to be a lie.

In the plane, a stewardess caries a tray through the plane with a water jug. It's the same jug Jim Carey was using in court.

The Lion King

At the part where Mufasa is falling off of the cliff by the stampede, he is trying to pull himself up and before he says brother to Scar you can hear someone say it before him, as if they were trying to remind him of what to say.

At the elephant graveyard, little Simba claws Shenzi in the face. When Mufasa saves Simba from the hyenas, the cuts are gone, a few seconds later.

When everyone thinks Simba is dead, Rafiki (the monkey) is sitting on a branch beside the drawing of Simba. Later, when he finds out Simba is alive, the drawing is near a platform, not a branch.

When the three hyenas are chasing little Simba, Banzaii (a hyena) flies into a thorn patch. When he comes out, he is covered in thorns. Then he walks over to the edge with Shenzi, and all of the thorns are gone (the ones he didn't pull out).

When Rafiki finds out Simba is alive, he does so by putting things Simba blew away, when he sat down the night he was stargazing with Timon and Pumbaa, in a turtle shell. He is sitting by the drawing of Simba as he does so. He puts the shell down, goes and grabs his stick, when he gets back, the shell is gone.

Near the end, When Zazu is in the cage of bones and Timon runs in with him because two of the hyenas are chasing him, Pumbaa follows them. Banzaii is in front, and Shenzi is by the cage. Banzaii calls Pumbaa a pig, and Pumbaa charges. We get a view of the two hyenas, and they have switched places.

This isn't a mistake in the actual movie, but in the ads for The Lion King, it says that Simba is "Destined to become come king of the jungle." They don't live anywhere near the jungle.

At the beginning of the song "Hakuna Matata" when Timon and Pumbaa are explaining what hakuna matata means, Pumbaa's teeth change from one to all of them at least 4 times. And at other parts of the movie too.

This is hard to see, but look at the whiskers on all the lions, the number of them changes about (I'm not exaggerating) 100 times. especially little Simba.

In the stampede scene, Mufasa is crawling up a slanted slope, but when we get an overhead view, it's straight down.

In the scene where Timone is pulling out bugs from a log, one of the bugs is wearing a Mickey hat.

Little Giants

When Spike first joins the little giants team they start practising a power eye formation. On the first play Spike trips and fumbles the ball. He doesn't have it in his hands when he hits the ground, but when he gets up he does.

When Rick Moranis is introducing the "Little Giants" You never see Devon's feet, but when he is walking out of the house he has no shoes on - he is only wearing socks.

When the dad that is never there walks into the stadium and his boy recognised him he is only a few inches from the field but when his son is running towards him he is at least a few feet.

When Rick Moranis is talking with his daughter when they are eating supper, the daughter's level of chocolate milk in her glass changes with each showing of it. One minute it is full the next it is almost empty and then the next shot it is full again.

At the end, the giants fumble the ball and it rolls slowly to the endzone but in the next scene, it is moving rapidly in the endzone.

Towards the end where Spike is tackled near the goal line he falls a good 2 feet from it but the ball is inches from it.

Little Man Tate

When Fred is talking to Jane about macrobiotics, he had a band-aid on this head. How did that happen?? He got a band-aid why he got whacked with the globe, which comes later in the movie.

Little Mermaid

Near the beginning of the movie, when the dog on the ship licks Ariel's cheek, she wipes the opposite cheek.

After Eric's wedding, she arrives at the ship without shoes, then she receives her voice back and just before they try to kiss, she's wearing shoes.

In the beginning when Ariel is watching the sailors dance on the ship the dog comes over and licks her face, but she wipes off the wrong cheek.

When she is in the Prince's guest bedroom, the covers magically appear over her.

Little Women

When Kirstin Dunst is struck by her teacher and "Marmie" writes Mr. Davis a letter chastising him, when Jo says inappropriate things about Mr. Davis, Marmie assigns Amy's education to Jo. When the camera shows Jo's reaction, behind her you can see Amy sighing and slumping in disappointment, and then the camera cuts to show Amy doing the same exact thing again!

Long Kiss Goodnight

In the final battle scene between Geena Davis and Craig Beirko, Beirko's character slashes Davis' character across the stomach (upper right hand side). In the next shot, the wound is located on the lower left side and in a subsequent shot, the wound has multiplied to become two wounds: one in the upper right hand side and a second in the lower left hand side.

The Long, Long Trailer

In the part where Tacy and Nicki have just had their big fight and Tacy is sleeping on the couch; you hear all of the train and gun sounds and Tacy jumps up to run to the bedroom shouting, "Nicki! Nicki!" she accidentally slips in a "Ricki". So her shout sounds like this: "Nicki! Ricki! Nicki! Nicki!"

The Longest Day

As the soldiers leave the water and start up the beach, you can see the shadow of the camera.

Look Who's Talking

There is a car chase scene where they show him driving wearing sunglasses, then they cut back to him and he's not wearing them, then they cut back to him and he is wearing them.........

Lords of Flatbush

One of the main characters has a Harley Davidson. The movie is supposed to take place in the fifties. The Harley had an electric start primary cover which wasn't made by Harley until 1965.

Lord of the Flies

When the other boys drop the rock on Piggy if you watch in slow motion you can see that the rock collapses and springs back

Lord of Illusions

At the beginning, Nix threatens young Dorthea with a real madrill, but that's all we see of it. It's never shown being put away, and it's not there when Swann and his crew break in to incapacitate Nix.

D'Amour visits one of Swann's friends, Jennifer Desidario, in a mental hospital. After their encounter, she run out to the street, and promptly gets struck by a passing car. If this hospital contains manic depressives like her, don't you think it would be wise to erect wall, or even a chain link fence around the complex?

Lost in Space

Will Robinson is downloading Robot's Memory onto a CD - the indicator reads 100% and Will even says "Got it". Yet later Will Robinson is talking with Robot and says the download was not completed.

Robot is brought back in time to Jupitor 2.  However, Robot's earlier self is also still on Jupitor 2.  So are there now two Robots?

At the end the Robinson's ship, containing young Will Robinson, is trying to leave the planet and explodes - the future Will Robinson would therefore also die. It would create a paradox, the future Will Robinson could not exist if he died when he was 10.

Nothing was really resolved at the end (probably setting the stage for a sequel)   They still had NO idea what time they were in, so for all they knew they could be 100 years into the future and the planet they set course for in Hyperdrive (Alpha Prime) could for all we know be destroyed.  Also, the evil doctor STILL has the spider bite and will eventually turn into a spider man. They should have killed him when they had the chance.
