Scream
At the very end when Sydney finds out who is doing the killing , and she's fighting and wrestling around on the floor with the killer, one minute she has these black sneakers on, and the next minute she's wearing her boots when she walks through the door.
When Sidney is waiting for her friend, it's 7:15 and it's dark out. But later, all the stores are closing because of a 9:00 curfew, and it's light as day.
At the end, when Courteney Cox is driving the van and screaming for the dead Kenny to get off the top of her van, you can hear her voice, but her mouth is obviously not moving.
At the beginning, if you watch in slow-mo, it is obvious that the hanging Drew Barrymore is a dummy.
When the T.V. falls on top of Stu, if you watch in slo-mo, it appears to be a dummy.
When Gale and Kenny are watching the tape of the van from inside the party, the scene they are watching, and what actually took place of Randy describing the "rules", there are many differences in what the people say and do.
If you watch closely, right before the end credits, the killer makes one final appearance. It only occurs for about 2 or 3 frames, but this is a copy of the tactic used in "The Exorcist" when you can see a flash of the priest for a few frames.
At the end, Courteney Cox tries to fire the gun but it doesn't work and she gets knocked out. The killer then makes a comment about the safety being off. Later on, when she uses the gun properly, she says that she remembered the safety that time. How could she have known what the killer said when she was unconscious? I don't think she did work it out for herself - she seemed fairly confused when the gun didn't work.
At the party at Stu's house, when Dep. Dewey is walking through the house looking for the killer, it shows Dewey walk into the living room with the T.V. and the couch. If you look at the T.V. there is a white phone sitting right next to it. Later, when Sydney and Stu are fighting and she is about to push the T.V. on top of him, you see the T.V. again-but not the white phone-it's gone. The T.V. also appears to be bigger.
In the scene when Sidney and Billy are talking in the bedroom at Stu's house, when the camera is on Billy, Sidney's hair is in a different position than when the camera is on her.
On the movie poster Billy has a beard, but he doesn't have one in the movie.
When Tatem is throwing beer bottles at ghost face in the garage, there is beer all over his costume...until he lands on the stairs behind her.
In the opening scene, Drew Barrymore put the Jiffy Pop on and it sizzled right away. In reality, it takes about ten minutes to heat up. And also she should have shaken it when it started sizzling.
If you look at Stu in the scene where everyone is watching the Jamie Lee Curtis movie and some guys are talking about Jamie Lee's breasts, Stu starts looking down the shirt of the girl in front of him.
In the beginning, when Billy is leaving Sidney's room, he climbs out the window and walks away, which isn't possible because all the roofs on the house are slanted and it's at least a two story house.
At the end when Sindey is in Dewey's police car and the killer is there, she opens the door and falls out but the door is still locked. In some cars you can open the door when it is locked but the lock always pops up after you open the door, and this one didn't.
When Tatum's head is crushed, why doesn't blood come out of her head?
How come everyone including Randy had their jackets on and appeared to be leaving the party and yet Randy was the only one left at the party at the end, before the bloodbath? The answer to this spawns another goof itself: Randy said he'd stay behind to check on Billy and Sydney, which is why he didn't leave. However, the goof is that he didn't actually go upstairs to check at any time, because he'd either have seen them having sex, or else found Billy's "body". Of course, another explanation is that we're made to think that Randy must be the killer, because he's the only one who stayed behind. We just don't know.....
Not a goof, but something to spot - when Henry Winkler is looking for the "kids" that keep knocking on his door, he opens one room and surprises a cleaner. Not only is the cleaner dressed like Freddy Kreuger, but he's called Fred, and played by Wes Craven himself.
Scream 2
In the beginning of the movie, Jada Pinkett orders a popcorn and a small Pepsi from the concession stand. As she walks back in to the theatre she clearly has a jumbo sized large.
In the middle when Sidney and Hally are on their way to a 'safe' place, the killer breaks the window glass with a little hit from his elbow. Then when the girls are trying to get out of the car they are pounding on the windows with their feet and all their might, but the glass won't break.
