SMHI International Consulting Services specialise in air and water related studies and develop and market the computer systems Airviro and HBV. Main project categories are environment, water management, construction and training and institutional development.

Environment

Dispersion, transport and deposition calculation/modelling of pollution in lakes, rivers, seas and the atmosphere.

Hydrological investigations and feasibility studies involving data evaluation and numerical modelling.

Construction

Normal and extreme design values on e.g. winds, precipitation, flows, currents, waves and water levels in connection with building.

Training

Transfer of technology in the fields of meteorology, hydrology and oceanography. Every year we give an international 5 weeks course in air quality management.

Airviro

Airviro is an Air Quality Management system for surveillance and air pollution modelling.

HBV

HBV is a part of a hydrological system for modelling simulations of water resources, snow and ground humidity.
