Ferrari is the 1997 Marque for The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance

Amelia Island, FL (October 16, 1996) - Bill Warner, co-chairman of The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and contributing editor to Road & Track Magazine, announced Ferrari as the feature marque, or distinguishing brand, at the 1997 show.

"With the designation of Ferrari as the feature marque, we have added Ferrari Sport and Ferrari Racing classes to the 14 existing classes for trophy judging," said Mr. Warner.

The classes selected to show express a wide variety of automobiles and motorcycles in the charity exhibition to benefit Hospice Northeast. Classes include:

• Historic 1895 - 1915
• Antique 1916 - 1924
• Mercedes-Benz to 1940
• Mercedes-Benz 1945 - 1968
• American Classic 1925 - 1932
• American Classic 1933 - 1941
• American Production 1925-1941
• Limited Production American 1946 - 1959
• European Classic 1925 - 1948
• European Custom Coachwork
• Sports Cars 1945 - 1960
• Sports Cars 1961 - 1972
• Pre-War Race Cars
• Race Cars 1946 - 1960
• Race Cars 1961 - 1972
• Classic and Racing Motorcycles
• Special Interest American 1960 - 1969
• Ferrari (Production Cars)
• Ferrari (Race Cars)
