The Cable Guy

Throughout the whole movie the cable guy calls himself Chip Douglas. When Steven is in prison and asks him his real name, cable guy replies Larry Tate. Later in the movie, Steven tells his friend to track the cable guy down and says "He calls himself Larry Tate but he told me his name was Chip Douglas." That's backwards.

The Cannonball Run

A stock car carrying Mel Tillis and Terry Bradshaw drive into a hotel swimming pool. If you watch the car as it drives into the pool, you'll see the jump ramp built at the end of the pool.

At one point a pickup truck jumps a freight train. While the pickup is in the air, you can see a crew member standing by the train.

The crew/equipment is visible by reflection in the motorcycle mirror.

Cape Fear

When DeNiro first meets Nolte's lady-friend, they are having a conversation in a bar or restaurant. As the camera goes from DeNiro to the woman, the woman's top blouse button is open in one shot, then closed, then open, etc.

Captain Ron

At the beginning, there is a scene where Ben spills a carton of milk. He picks it up right away, but a split second later the scene changes and the milk is still lying down.

Carlito's Way

Al Pacino talks to the older man named Ron in a club filled with mirrors. If you look at Al Pacino's lips when "Ron" is speaking you can see Al coaching the actor playing Ron on his lines.

Casablanca

In the famous train scene where Ingrid stands up Bogie, his coat is soaking wet. He gets on the train after receiving his "dear John" note and his coat looks amazingly dry.

In the final scenes at the airport, when Bogie is talking to Louie, the epaulettes on Louie's shoulders alternately appear and disappear.

Casper

When Kat is riding in the red machine chair, the chair stops before the shaving cream and it dies down. But then when Dibbs and Carrigan go down, Dibbs is covered in shaving cream. Why did Kat's chair stop? It didn't know who it was.Why did Dibbs' and Carrigan`s chair keep going?

The Chamber

Through most of the movie, Chris O'Donnell's character is driving a red Taurus. Later when driving to the KKK meeting, his car is gray.

The Chase

Kristy Swanson vomits from the passenger side window of her car; the resulting mess ends up on the windshield of the ill-defined musical sensation turned actor Henry Rollins' police car. The incredible force of Ms. Swanson's projectile vomiting notwithstanding, as the chase progresses, Mr. Rollins' windshield becomes magically squeegee clean!

Chasing Amy

In one part where Silent Bob is in the diner, he finishes reading a comic book and they show him toss it on the table. However, in the very next scene (a different angle) he has the comic book in his hand again and tosses it on the table (again!)

The cameraman is visible in the reflection of window while Holden is walking back to his car in the rain.

During the hockey fight. Number 12's helmet is off, than on, than off again.

The Cherokee Kid

There is a scene where they get into a horse drawn carriage. There are glass windows. And when the carriage turns the corner you see a reflection of a white dodge pickup truck. You get a better view of it if you run it on slow motion.

A Christmas Carol

There's a scene where Scrooge looks in a mirror in his bedroom. As he moves, you get a quick glimpse of a stagehand leaning against a wall and smoking a cigarette.

A Christmas Story

One contributor was surprised to find in this film that the character played by Peter Billingsly was reading "Silas Marner" in elementary school. He didn't read it until high school, and found it difficult enough to understand then.

Cinderella

At one part when she is dressed up in her gown for the ball or something, the top half of her dress goes see through for a split second.

Citizen Kane

The film is centered around finding the meaning of the last word that the film's main character Charles Foster Kane says before his death. The problem is that there is no one in the room when he whispers his final word, "Rosebud", from his death bed. The closest person is his nurse who wasn't in the room and could not have heard his whispered statement.

City Slickers

During the scene where the group buries Curly, a bouquet of flowers keeps appearing and disappearing.

There is no way the cow (a Hereford I think) could have given birth to that calf (a Jersey or something like that).

City Slickers 2

When Mitch says to Duke "Oh, Curly, I am so sorry for burying you", his mouth is not moving.

City Hall

There is a scene in the film when all of the characters are watching a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. Al Pacino and Danny Aiello have a word outside during this. We hear through the doors that the song being sung is "If I Loved You." This song is sung at the very beginning of the production, yet people begin to file out for intermission directly thereafter. They got to the middle of the production pretty quickly.

Clear And Present Danger

At the end, when Harrison Ford is arguing with the President, his "A" tag switches from being over the lapel of his jacket to under it, without him moving.

The Client

The attorney in the opening sequence waves around and eventually shoots himself with a Ruger SP-101 revolver. The police
describe it as a Smith and Wesson. In the United States the police know the difference. If nothing else the brand is inscribed on the frames.

Cliffhanger

When the jet crashes, we see a shot from below showing a large portion of it poking out over the cliff. We then cut to the parachutists, and when we cut back to the jet, we see that very nearly all of it is safely on rock.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

If you have a trained eye you can see Darth Vader's ship and R2D2 from Star Wars, and several other bits of Spielberg-Lucas memorabilia.

Cleopatra

One book complains that the procession passes through an arch that hadn't been built at that time ... but they missed the larger issue, that the Forum set used in that film was ENTIRELY inaccurate. They had already built a full-scale mock-up of the real Forum, but this turned out to be too cramped for what they had in mind for Cleo's entry, so a new set was built, much bigger than the real Forum (another reason for its high cost). And to add to the irony, there actually is a flub in the scene they apparently missed: just as Cleopatra's Sphinx is pulled through that arch, you can see the shadow being cast of the wooden scaffolding holding up the backside of what are, in fact, only well-decorated flats, never intended to be seen from the other direction.

Clerks

The length of Dante's beard changes throughout the movie.

The "No Shoplifting" sign is gone when Randall sends sells cigarettes to the girl.

The funeral and selling of the cigarettes both happen at 4:00.

They say it's Saturday but why does Veronica have class and a sorority meeting on a Saturday?

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

The Richard Dreyfus character, having seen flying saucers, is haunted by this vision of a rock (Devil's Tower in North-eastern Wyoming). Then he sees it on TV and has to go there - he jumps into the family station wagon, roars out of the driveway, and we get a close up of the Indiana license plate. Next we see him in Wyoming south of Devil's Tower supposedly having driven straight through, yet he seems to have stopped off long enough to pick up Wyoming license plates.

Clueless

In the scene where Cher is stuck in Sun Valley, she calls Josh to come and get her, he says " you owe me one" and hangs up. He doesn't even know where she is in Sun Valley.

When Cher is taking her driving test she smashes into a car and knocks the side mirror off the jeep. In the next shot a second later it is back on.

When Cher and Josh are sitting on the stairs near the end, Cher's hair is either behind her ear or loose (I can't remember which). When they next show her it is the opposite.

Tai and Cher are hugging when they are watching Travis' Skateboarding competition. Cher starts out on the left and Tai on the right. They hug in that position and then mysteriously end their hug on opposite sides.

At the end after Cher and Josh make out and she says"Well you can guess what happened next". Cuts to the two teachers Wedding, and she narrates "As if, I'm only 16 and this is California, not Kentucky!" As she's saying that and the shot is showing the back of the couple from a far distance. It shows that Mr. Hall has a full head of hair, but he's bald! The guy is for some reason a double that was there for no sense in the movie.

Cocktail

During the first conversation Tom has with his uncle at the bar, the level of the beer rises and falls several times.

Tom Cruise's hair changes from long to short to long to short in some of the early scenes.

When Tom Cruise enters the movie theatre, there's a movie written on the lights. When he leaves it, the name on the lights has changed.

Commando

In a scene towards the end, you can see the two bad guys flip into the air, and see the air ramps they fly off off.

When he is attacking the house near the end, a stuntman falls off the roof, unfortunately you can see a hint of blue crash mat as he lands.

Sullie's yellow Porche is all dented on the side and then he makes a turn and the dents are gone for a split second.

At one point near the end Arnie dives to the ground wearing a combat jacket, then gets up without it on.

In the scene where Matrix is holding Sally over the cliff, you can see the cable holding him up.

At the end of the movie, Arnie puts on his flak jacket then his make-up, but when he takes off his jacket, he's got camouflage on.

Towards the end Arnold is firing a gun, and the length of the ammo belt changes. They show the ammo almost gone and then after an edit it's dragging on the ground.

After Arnold drops Sully of the cliff, he goes back to the the woman's car where she asks what he did with Sully, but she was never told his name.

When Matrix shoots the man in his Daughters room with the M16, the sound, and reaction of the man is more like a shotgun.

After Bennent and his man attacked Matrix's house, it goes to the scene where they explain why they want Matrix's help, then to a scene of the General and a bunch of troops at Matrix's House. Who called them?

When Matrix rips out the seat out the the woman's car, he didn't release a latch or anything, so wouldn't there be twisted metal where the seat was? But Matrix just jumps right in.

At the end, where Matrix kills Bennent by throwing a pipe through him (OK sure, but let's just pretend). The pipe goes through Bennent, and into a steam pipe beind him. Then steam pours out of the Pipe that Matrix threw. Now what happened to all of the flesh, bone, skin, and blood that was inside of the pipe?

Con Air

In the scene when the aeroplane is crash landing in Las Vegas, it follows a flight path from shot to shot that would have been physically impossible, one moment bearing down on the strip, next downtown, back to the strip, back to downtown, and back to the strip before crashing there.

The Debbie Reynolds Museum is not located along the strip.

When they show the plane crashing into the Sands Hotel, the hotel no longer exists and they used the explosion from blowing the hotel up to use in the movie.

When the villains have made their lousy landing at the airfield and the police are coming, Cyrus opens a box with shotguns and throws one to his fellow convicts. The next scene shows the convict catching the gun, and it has somehow turned into an M-16.

When the plane takes off from Lerner airfield, it flies over John Cusack and the other agents, trailing the car. Quite a few seconds after flying over them, the car hits the tower and flies off, still falling away from them. However, they then have to stand back because the car falls at their feet, despite the fact that by that stage the car would have been at least 200m away from them.

Congo

When everybody is in the cave there are rocks falling on them, but when the rocks go in the water, they float!

Conspiracy Theory

When Jerry is on the bus with Alice, one second he's wearing his hat, he takes it off, then the next second it's back on.

In the scene where Julia Roberts is awake and she is in her pyjamas she is still wearing her bra. You can see the coupler strap at the centre of her back.

Contact

At the end, after Jodie Foster testifies before Congress, she departs the Capitol building to a waiting limo. The media is there waiting for her. Behind the media people appears to be the Reflecting Pool, and the Washington Monument at the far end of it. However, in reality, the Reflecting Pool is actually located between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, not the Capitol.

When Jodie Foster comes down off the helicopter, she and Tom Skerritt are interviewed on the spot (that happens minutes before the explosion of the first engine). This interview last about 3 or 4 minutes, at most. But if you look in the background, you will see a countdown panel. At the beginning of the interview, it shows 2h01 and at the end, it shows 1h53 instead of the expected 1h57.

There's a scene where Jodie sleeps with the Mathew McConnelley character then gets up quickly to go to the lab. In her haste, she departs whipping on a shirt with no bra. The camera follows her outside where suddenly it appears she is now wearing one.

When Jodie Foster's father dies she goes downstairs and sees him. Then she runs back up the stairs, only the steps are on the other side.

Cool Runnings

When the bobsled team is getting their act together in Calgary, there's a scene of them pushing off with an unpainted bobsled. In the shots of the feet of the guys pushing at the back of the sled, you can see that the lower back of the sled is painted black with green stripes, the colours that they paint the sled in a scene a few minutes later.

Copycat

The serial killer is copying the style of murder of some of the most ruthless serial killers ever. He copies Jeffrey Dahmer's by drugging a gay guy at a bar, puts a bag over the guy's head until he suffocates, then saws off the head and disposes of the body in a river. This is not how Dahmer did it! Dahmer did not suffocate them and he did the killings at his home, not an alley. He also cannibalised the bodies and kept the skull in his fridge.

Corrina Corrina

When she and the father are talking at the door about her quitting, she takes her gloves off and puts them in her pocket. When they agree to her staying, she has them back on.

At the end of the film, Ray Liotta drives to Corrina’s house to persuade her to come back. When he arrives at her house he’s in his hard-top car. At the closing scene of the film, he arrives back at his house with Corrina, and they’re in the convertible.

Creepshow

In almost every story told in the movie, there is an ashtray that is used as an ashtray, as a soap dish and as a place you can put lose change, rings etc.

Crimson Tide

In the scene where the Captain (Gene Hackman) is getting ready to address the crew, the Chief of the Boat (an enlisted man) is briefly shown barking orders to the crew wearing a combination cover with an officer's golden chin strap. A Chief Petty Officer wears a black chin strap.

The Crow

If you watch carefully, Brandon Lee has hair just about half an inch shorter than the guy they got as a replacement. The hair grows and shrinks from scene to scene.

During the scene when Eric is going up the stairs to revisit his old apartment, the show the crow sitting on the banister and in the next moment you hear it fly away, but it's shadow is still there.

In the scene where Brandon walks in on Top Dollar's meeting and there's a big shoot out, the guy in the trousers with hearts on them gets shot and killed, but a few seconds later you see him again shooting at Eric.

When Eric first goes back to his apartment, right after he returns from the grave, it is raining inside the apartment and his
movements look an awful lot like the movements he just made in the rainy alleyway.

In the big shootout scene at Top Dollar's, if you take notice of all of the people sitting around the table, there seem to be a lot being picked off one by one, and yet there are still plenty of people left alive at the table.

Supposedly (I can't confirm this) the shot where Eric puts his hand right over the barrel of the gun (and gets the hole shot in his hand) is the scene in which he recieved what would be his fatal wound in the stomach.

In the scene at the bar with Gideon when the black guy pours Gideon a drink it is only about 1/3 full. When Gideon drinks it in the next shot it is almost full.
