Late breaking News

Rogers Cable announced they are beginning Internet Service in a limited area around Toronto. A co-axial cable modem is included in the service which delivers data at over 17 times the regular rate (??). I suppose they mean something like 256K bps. Look out all you ISPs!

Recent outages A storm blew through the Pacific Northwest on Friday, November 18 and wiped out a lot of networks both on Vancouver Island and in and around Vancouver. Our apologies on any discomfort this may have caused.

We have a new address! http://www.wie.com which is now fully functional. Both addresses work for the time being being but please change any bookmarks. If we miss any of the e-mail references please drop me a line at danl@www.wie.com

Doug Pelton - President and CEO of Westcoast Interchange
Commonly referred to as "The Big Kahuna", Doug co-founded WIE in late 1993. His expertise lays in server database applications, software development, and UNIX system administration.

Dan Lundgren - Director of Sales and Marketing
In keeping with our hawaiian theme, Dan is affectionately known as "Danno". Dan maintains the site while trying to drum up new business. Beyond the WWW Dan has a consuming obsession for old Volkswagens, an obsession well documented in his first HTML work, THE VOLKSWAGEN SAGA.

Elizabeth Wharf - Office Manager
Liz is instrumental in running the offices of IDC, and keeping Dan on the straight and narrow. Her interests include the BBC's Coronation Street, Mars chocolate bars, and "the Weed Man".(???!????!??)

Val Ross - Public Relations, Writing and Creative Consultant.
Val is responsible for press releases, internet marketing and some html programming. Val maintains the wildly popular Legends and Legacies and has yet to be assigned an embarrassing nickname.

Paul Chan - Business manager of IDC
Paul can often be seen roaming the hallways of IDC, ruling all procedings with an iron fist. Actually, Paul is well liked, has learnt to share, and no longer needs help tying his shoes.
