WWW Server

This page contains usage and statistical information about
the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning's World Wide Web Server

The name of our www-server is ledoux.arbld.unimelb.edu.au (128.250.136.2)
(a.k.a www.arbld.unimelb.edu.au, ledoux-gw.arbld.unimelb.edu.au)

Ledoux is a SUN SPARC station 2 running SUNOS 4.1.1, with 64Mb of main memory and 1.5Gb of disk storage. Ledoux is handling approximately 6,000 connections per week: ~5,500 document and ftp requests[as at 27.7.95].

On the software side, the WWW Server uses NCSA httpd and the Caching Proxy Server is the CERN httpd. It is managed by the ICTINUS Group (listed below) in Architecture as part of the ICTINUS project.
