BEHAVIOR
(1) any sequence of states of a system. (Ashby,
Handout, 1961) (2) The behavior of a system is overt and thus
manifested in input-output relationships, whereas state
trajectories are covert and must either be inferred or must be
obtained by "opening the black box". (Michael Arbib)
