Adobe Systems Incorporated, founded in 1982, is committed to supporting the User Group community and maintaining long-term relationships with its leaders and members. Adobe recognizes how User Groups raise awareness, create goodwill, build understanding and educate members on the use of computer software products and technologies at large.

Adobe User Group Relations is chartered specifically to support User Groups, provide current product information, furnish new product tools, offer special product discounts, supply review software and secure knowledgeable speakers on Adobe(TM) technology. User Groups registered with Adobe User Group Relations receive these benefits and a number of services.

Information Mailings

Regular bimonthly mailings from Adobe provide the leaders of Macintosh(R) User Groups, PC User Groups, NetWare(R) User Groups, Ventura Publishing User Groups, Professional Associations and the Adobe Technology Exchange with a variety of information. Mailings feature company editorial coverage, current press releases, product white papers including product and market backgrounders, new feature highlights, competitive analysis, tips and techniques sheets, Q&A updates, customer spotlights and trends, plus new product brochures.

Adobe software products are available for review in User Group newsletters. To review software, User Group presidents or editors must send a request to review software products on User Group letterhead with information about their User Group and a current newsletter via U.S. Mail. Upon completion of the review, User Group presidents and editors may request another software product to review.

Updated product information, latest press releases, newest customer spotlights and more are available for User Groups to download for publication in their newsletters. Events

Adobe sponsors User Group receptions at both Spring & Fall COMDEX and Summer & Winter MacWorld. Whenever possible, Adobe supports regional User Group events such as conferences, table top fairs, trade shows, forums, and fund raisers. Adobe executives and product managers join User Groups officers at these specific User Group events to showcase and demo the hottest new Adobe products.

Adobe Acrobat Products User Group Program

Adobe offers a special User Group program to acquire Adobe Acrobat(TM) software which allows users to begin distributing electronic information more efficiently and effectively. The Adobe Acrobat Products User Group Program provides User Groups with all the software tools to publish electronically and distribute information as PDF files to User Group members.
