E-GEMS
Electronic Games for Education in Math and Science
What is E-GEMS?
E-GEMS is a joint effort by scientists, educators, and game and educational
software developers to research and develop teaching materials that integrate
computers (and computer games) into the classroom. The aim of this research
is to increase the number of children in Grades 4-8 who enjoy (and therefore
learn) math and science.
A note to those who are interested in learning more: E-GEMS meets each Monday at 12:30 in CICSR room 003B (at the
University of British Columbia campus).
