Connecting
Once you have the viewer installed, go to the Setup window and modify your settings for Servers. In the Server Data window type the following:
- Name: Informix web cast
- IP address: 204.160.178.10
- Port: 1558
We expect a high amount of activity on our server, so if you have problems connecting please try the following other servers:
- Xing Technology
- Name: xing1.xdm - xing4.xdm
- IP address: 204.62.160.251 with a T1 line
- Port: 1558
- American Computer
- Name:american1.xdm - american4.xdm
- IP address: 204.74.126.7 with a T3 line
- Port: 1558
- Bloomberg
- Name: bloomberg1.xdm - bloomberg4.xdm
- IP address: 199.172.169.4 with a T1 line
- Port: 1558
Now when you select Browse from the main screen, you can select one of the servers from the Known Servers window. The broadcast is in on Thursday, February 8, from 9am-1pm Pacific Standard
Time.
