Although it is legal and the customers get their invoice afterwards, I don't
think the prostitutes have any sort of group or community to keep their
rights and raise their voices, here in Turkey. But recently, a prostitute
from Istanbul now fights for her right to "retire" after a hard work of 25
years. And she wants exactly the same rights of a civil servant, such as
retirement salary, social security, etc. The trial still continues on the
court.
