SOFTWARE
LIBRARIES
HTML Active Filter(TM) Technology
The HTML Active Filter is a software package which allows your
web server to retreive and reformat arbitrary Web documents before
presenting them to the user. Examples of the HTML Active Filter
are
- The Fax Button Viewer.
This application allows you to view any web page, with a control panel
attached to fax the document right from the web browser.
- The WebFax Viewer. This reformats any web page, annotated with custom information for fax retrieval through our WebFaX(TM) system.
- The HTML Zippy Filter. This application adds original humor to any web document, in real time.
New information-annotation applications can easily be written using
the Active Filter reformatting and retrieval library. If you have the
need to have your server add information content on the fly to web
documents, the Active Filter will help.
This is a C web CGI program to examine and modify rows in tables of an
MSQL database. Here is a more detailed
description and some sample output. WebSQL uses HTML 3.0 tables to
format its output, so you should use Netscape or another browser which
supports HTML 3.0 tables to view the sample output documents.
The WebSQL package is distributed under the GNU public license,
with source available at http://www.ua.com/websql/websql.tar.gz.
The CORRECT(tm)
Reed-Solomon Forward Error-Correction Coding Library
The CORRECT(tm)
library allows you to add error correction to your
data using Reed-Solomon error correction coding. This is the same
error correction algorithm used in Compact Disc and CDROM
technology. This capability is useful for systems which must broadcast
digital data which could be subjected to burst errors, such as data
broadcast over cable television networks or satellite links.
For more details, see a technical overview of CORRECT or please send mail to hqm@ua.com.
