Southern California Coalition for Education in Manufacturing
Engineering (SCCEME)
The coalition, comprised of
California State Universities at
Fullerton(CSUF);
California State Universities at Los
Angeles(CSULA); and
California State Universities at Long
Beach(CSULB);
as well as the
University of Southern California(USC);
University of California at Los
Angeles(UCLA);
and the
University of California at Irvine(UCI)
proposes to develop and offer undergraduate degrees or degree options in
manufacturing engineering at all six campuses and graduate 150
manufacturing engineers by the year 2000.
SCCEME is funded by
the National Science Foundation (NSF),
the State of California /
California Trade and Commerce Agency

area industries.
