www.engr.csulb.edu also known as heart.engr.csulb.edu is a Silicon Graphics Inc. model Challenge L deskside server, features include:
- 4 MIPS R4400 CPUs, 150MHz (SGI CPU type IP19)
- 8679 SPECrate_int92
- 9079 SPECrate_fp92
- 4 MB instruction cache
- 4 MB data cache
- 512 MB memory, ECC (Error-Correcting Code)
- 6 GB local disk
- A dedicated high-performance Ethernet connection to
puma, the Engineering file server
- IRIX 5.2 operating system, a derivative of AT&T System V
- C, C++, FORTRAN compilers
